This website is produced by Henley Centre HeadlightVision (HCHLV) and is maintained to promote its aims and objectives. Part of those aims encompasses the protection, considerate and appropriate use of personal information.  This privacy policy sets out the framework within which personal information submitted to this website will be collected, stored and used by us or released to others. HCHLV will amend this policy from time to time and we request that you periodically review this privacy notice.

Personally identifiable information collection and use

As you navigate around this website you may be invited to submit information that can identify you personally or has the potential to do so.  These details will be used by our staff to respond to a request or query you have raised, perhaps register you as a delegate to one of our events, to assist in promoting your point of view to a wider audience, or to keep you informed on our critical thinking and improve our business services. 

We will not disclose your details to a third party without your specific approval.  However, there are occasions when we promote activities in partnership with our sister companies or other organisations and the personal details you provide may need to be disclosed to them.  We may need to disclose your details to suppliers, contractors and third party agents engaged by us.  In such situations, only sufficient parts of your details will be disclosed on an as needed basis and with an agreement that it is secured and protected.

We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information via this website from or about any person under the age of 11. Access and corrections

If you are a European Union (EU) citizen, then under EU data protection law you have a right to request access to personal data held about you on payment of a small fee to meet administration costs. As an EU citizen, you also have the right to require any inaccuracies in information to be corrected free of charge.  HCHLV reciprocate these rights to all non EU peoples but hold that the relevant regulatory system governing England and Wales will be the authority recognised by HCHLV to resolve any privacy dispute or disagreement with you.

Are these privacy protections in place if I use one of your links to visit another website?

In general the answer is no.  Any links we provide to other websites is merely for your convenience.  HCHLV is not responsible for how third party websites solicit, store and distribute your personal information.  You are strongly advised to assess the privacy policy of each site you intend to submit personal information.
